This page describes how AI-assisted systems are used or may be used within GrantConnection and related services of Walls Wisdom Works. This disclosure should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which governs how we collect, use, and share your information, including information involved in AI-assisted features.
GrantConnection is designed to incorporate AI-assisted tools that can help with grant matching analysis, opportunity summaries, and application drafting support. Not all AI-assisted features may be active or available to all users at a given time. The AI assistant is not yet generally available.
As features are made available, AI-assisted tools may help analyze potential grant opportunities relative to an organization's profile, summarize grant program descriptions, support drafting of application narrative sections, and identify opportunities that may warrant eligibility review.
AI-assisted output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or require significant revision. AI systems work from the information available in our database and the information you provide. They do not have real-time access to funder websites, program updates, or current deadlines. Users must independently verify all information before acting on it.
If we cannot identify a defensible match, we would rather tell you that than manufacture a recommendation. A zero result when no match exists is the correct and honest outcome.
When an opportunity may fit but an eligibility condition cannot yet be confirmed, GrantConnection flags it for review instead of presenting it as a confirmed match. Some eligibility determinations require direct verification with the funder.
GrantConnection does not guarantee grant eligibility, award, or funding success. AI-assisted matching is a tool to support research and decision-making, not a guarantee of outcome.
Users are responsible for independently reviewing all AI-assisted output, verifying eligibility with authoritative funder sources, confirming current deadlines and requirements directly with funders, and exercising independent judgment before submitting any application.
Submit only information appropriate to share under our Privacy Policy. Do not include information that is legally privileged, subject to confidentiality obligations, or that you are not authorized to share. When you use an AI-assisted feature, the information you submit and the relevant GrantConnection context needed to generate a response may be transmitted to OpenAI for processing. Walls Wisdom Works does not use customer organizational content to train or fine-tune general-purpose artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. The limited license you grant Walls Wisdom Works to use your submitted content covers only what is necessary to provide the contracted services to you or your organization. It does not extend to training or fine-tuning AI models.
Information associated with AI-assisted features may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy and in accordance with applicable operational, legal, billing, security, and backup requirements. AI session data is not retained separately from standard service records unless otherwise disclosed. For the full retention policy, see our Privacy Policy.
GrantConnection's AI-assisted features are powered by OpenAI language models. When you use an AI-assisted feature, applicable information you submit and relevant GrantConnection context needed to generate a response may be transmitted to OpenAI for processing. OpenAI's use of this information is subject to OpenAI's applicable terms and policies. Walls Wisdom Works does not commit to any specific OpenAI model version in this disclosure, and the underlying model may change over time.
AI-assisted tools are designed to support, not replace, human judgment. All final decisions about grant applications, eligibility determinations, and funding strategy should involve qualified human review.
Walls Wisdom Works may update this disclosure as AI tools and features evolve. The effective date reflects the most recent revision.
