By accessing or using GrantConnection, FundBuilder, or other services provided by Walls Wisdom Works, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
Walls Wisdom Works is a North Carolina nonprofit corporation. GrantConnection is a grant-readiness program and software platform of Walls Wisdom Works, not a separate legal entity. FundBuilder is a subscription tier within GrantConnection. All contracts, payments, and obligations are with Walls Wisdom Works.
You must provide accurate, current account information and keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account. Each account is for one organization unless a multi-site plan applies. You must be an adult, age 18 or older, and an authorized representative of your organization to register or use an account.
GrantConnection subscription plans may include different features and access levels. FundBuilder is offered under two plans:
Subscription fees are charged in advance. You may cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of your current paid period. You retain access to the services through the end of that paid period. Walls Wisdom Works does not provide refunds for partial subscription periods already charged, except as set out under Termination below.
If Walls Wisdom Works increases the price of a subscription plan, it will provide at least 30 days advance notice by email to the registered account address before the increased price takes effect for that account.
Consulting services, including Assess, Engage, Write, and Partner services, are separate from subscription fees. Consulting fees are flat and due as specified in the applicable engagement agreement regardless of grant award outcome.
Consulting services are provided separately under applicable engagement agreements. Walls Wisdom Works does not guarantee a grant award or funding success.
Substantive work begins when Walls Wisdom Works first performs substantive services specifically for the engagement after acceptance of the applicable engagement agreement. Administrative setup alone does not constitute substantive work. Payment, cancellation, and refund treatment for a particular consulting engagement are as specified in the applicable engagement agreement.
You may use the services only for lawful, authorized purposes. You may not submit fraudulent or misleading information, misuse the services, use automated scraping or extraction tools without written permission, interfere with the platform, or use the services for unlawful purposes.
Walls Wisdom Works maintains grant information with reasonable care, but does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of grant listings. You must independently verify deadlines, eligibility, application requirements, and other material information with authoritative funder sources before submitting an application.
Use of GrantConnection, FundBuilder, or consulting services does not guarantee eligibility for a grant, a grant award, or funding success.
You are responsible for independently verifying all eligibility conditions, deadlines, application requirements, and funder guidance before submitting any application.
GrantConnection may incorporate AI-assisted tools to assist with grant matching, summaries, and application drafting. These AI-assisted features are powered by OpenAI as an AI technology provider. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or require revision. You must review all AI-assisted output before use. AI assistance does not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice.
Walls Wisdom Works owns the platform, its software, materials, and related content. You retain ownership of content you submit.
You represent that content you submit is accurate and does not violate third-party rights or applicable law. By submitting content, you grant Walls Wisdom Works a limited license to use that content only as necessary to provide the contracted services to you or your organization. This license does not authorize Walls Wisdom Works to use your content to train or fine-tune general-purpose artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
The platform may use third-party services, including Stripe for payments, Supabase for data services, Resend for email delivery, OpenAI for AI-assisted features, and other providers. Those services are governed by their own applicable terms and policies.
The services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, Walls Wisdom Works disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Walls Wisdom Works will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Walls Wisdom Works' total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you actually paid to Walls Wisdom Works for the subscription term applicable to the claim. For example, if you are on a prepaid 12-month plan, the cap is the 12-month fee you paid for that term.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Walls Wisdom Works from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the services or breach of these terms.
Either party may terminate a relationship governed by these terms, subject to any applicable engagement agreement.
If you violate these terms in a way that is ordinary or remediable, Walls Wisdom Works will provide written notice and a 7-day opportunity to cure the violation before suspending or terminating your access. Walls Wisdom Works may suspend or terminate access immediately, without an opportunity to cure, for fraud, illegal conduct, security threats, abuse, intentional misuse, or conduct that creates a material risk to the platform or other users.
If Walls Wisdom Works terminates your prepaid access for its own business reasons, and not because of your misconduct or breach of these terms, Walls Wisdom Works will refund the unused prepaid portion of your subscription on a pro-rata basis.
These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the State of North Carolina, unless the parties otherwise agree in writing. These terms do not require mandatory arbitration and do not include a class action waiver.
For material changes to these terms, Walls Wisdom Works will provide at least 30 days advance notice by email to the registered account address before the change takes effect. Walls Wisdom Works may also post notice on the website when appropriate. Continued use of the services after the effective date of a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
