Walls Wisdom Works is a nonprofit capacity-building and grant strategy organization built around one idea: Fundability.
Our Story
Walls Wisdom Works began with a simple observation: many organizations doing meaningful work were being turned down for funding not because their mission lacked merit, but because they had not yet built the organizational conditions funders look for.
What started as direct work with churches and faith-based organizations has grown into a practice that serves the nonprofit sector broadly, including human services, youth development, education, health, community development, economic mobility, and arts and culture organizations, while retaining deep, founding-era specialization in faith-based and denominational work.
Our Approach
Everything Walls Wisdom Works does traces back to Fundability: the clarity, capacity, credibility, evidence, systems, and strategy an organization needs to compete effectively for funding. We organize our work into four stages, Assess, Engage, Write, and Partner, so organizations can start wherever they are and keep building from there.
Who We Are
Walls Wisdom Works is a 501(c)(3) public charity. Federal tax-exempt status was recognized by the IRS effective April 22, 2026, under IRC §170(b)(1)(A)(vi). Contributions are tax-deductible.
GrantConnection is a program of Walls Wisdom Works, not a separate legal entity. All contracts, payments, and obligations related to GrantConnection are held in the name of Walls Wisdom Works.
Our founder's leadership experience encompasses more than $50 million in grants and financing, and more than four decades of nonprofit, business, community-development, and faith-sector leadership.
Our Values
“Faith Without Works Is Dead” (James 2:17) is a value at the root of how Walls Wisdom Works works: mission without action, and belief without evidence, does not move an organization forward. We hold every organization we work with, and ourselves, to the same standard: show the work, not just describe it.
